Find a Lost Pet - Kincade Fire
STEP ONE: Report your pet's information to our Database Team
Overwhelmed by all the photos and places to look for your missing pet? Or maybe you have no idea where to start? Report your pet's info so we can do the work for you!
Send us information on your lost pet by submitting a post to the Facebook Group for your listed disaster (see below). We will create and assign a post for your pet and add your info to our database. We can then start cross referencing found pets in shelters, with good samaritans and sighted out in the field. With your permission, we can also set up a Feeding Station at your property and if activity is seen, we can arrange to set up a camera and make plans to place a live cage trap.
Include the following in your post:
Then, post this info to our active Facebook Groups here:
STEP TWO: Start searching Found pets
You can start searching through our database to see if your pet has already been found! Go to the "Search for Pets" box on this page for links to Found Cats or Dogs. Check often as new images are added as pets are found. Other pets like horses and livestock will added when we receive reports.
Unsure that your pet could have survived the fire?
Don't give up hope! We have reunited pets with their families months or even years after the event, even ones who were trapped inside a home.
